The Victoria Independent School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Moeller as the new Principal of the Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP). Mr. Moeller, who has been serving as the Assistant Principal at Victoria East High School, will assume his new role in June.
The DAEP serves students who require a structured and disciplined educational setting to continue their academic pursuits. It focuses on behavior modification and academic success, aiming to reintegrate students successfully back into their regular educational setting. Mr. Moeller’s approach to education, which emphasizes respect, responsibility, career and college readiness, and results, aligns perfectly with the goals of the DAEP.
In his new role, Mr. Moeller will work closely with Tedrick Valentine, the Principal of the Credit Recovery program at VISD Success Academy. Together, they will ensure a cohesive strategy that supports all students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
“Being appointed as the Principal of the Disciplinary Alternative Education Program is an honor and a privilege. I am deeply committed to the success and well-being of every student, and I believe that with the right support and guidance, every child can achieve greatness. I look forward to working collaboratively with my colleagues and the students at DAEP.”
The Victoria Independent School District is committed to providing high-quality education to all students and believes that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed. The appointment of Patrick Moeller is a step forward in our mission to nurture and develop the potential of every student in our district.
